Acid Baby

Acid Crop Top from American Apparel, Skirt from Brandy Melville, Sheer Leggings from American Apparel, Shoes from Zipia.net

This crop top is actually really unflattering, but I love the design and silhouette... in theory. It makes my upper portion look really wide. :( It has a really nice grey acid wash design, which is great because it's hard to wear acid wash without looking tacky.

I barely wore any makeup today! Just my circle lenses and one coat of mascara! This may sound weird, but the best part about not wearing makeup is the ability to just rub your eyes and face however you like! :P I'm not wearing my lenses in this photo because my eyes were really dry today and I took them off as sooooon as I got home! Whew!

I think by now you guys are starting to get a sense of what my personal style is like and I hope I'll be able to share more with you all in the future!

Summative and Exam period is coming up so I won't be posting as often as I'd like to, but I promise to try my best to keep up with my entries!

p.s I got nominated for Liebster Award by SparklyChee and that post will be coming up soon! Thank You so much for nominating me! It feels great to be part of this! :)

Sleek and Sleepy

The Studs on the cardigan are engraved very well so I don't have to worry about them falling off! The scarf was gifted from my grandmother, and I always got complements on how unique the gradient effect is on the scarf!
Sheer tights really were the only way to go with this outfit! It was a nice contrast from my all-black bottom half!
Sparkle and Fade Cardigan from Urban Outfitters, Silk Slip from Zipia.net,  Sheer Tights from H&M, Knee High Leather Boots from Spring, Gradient Knit Circle Scarf from Hong Kong

There's always that line. That line that shouldn't be crossed. I wish I could say I had the guts to cross that line, but at last I will always be the girl who stands just a few mm before it.

Sometimes, when I'm really late to school I like to wear my pyjamas. This might sound really weird but I adore wearing my pyjamas to school! If you ask my friends they'll know what I am talking about. The pyjama shirt trend has kinda passed but that doesn't mean that I can't still "worrk it guurl"!

One of my favourite pieces are slips. They are fun, flirty, and super comfortable. Some might think that wearing lingerie to school is like pulling an "Easy A" but I think it's how you wear it that will decide how you will be perceived. This slip is sleek and super cute! Wear it alone like a dress or wear a shirt over top like a skirt!

I love high knee boots with heels on them because they make my thighs look so much thiner + I don't mind a little boost to my height of 5'1 either! You can't really see the heels in the photos for which I apologize but these only add about an inch of height which is still greatly appreciated!

I think I will eventually do a post writing about how to wear pyjamas without looking like a hobo or a slut too seductive. Meheheh ;)

Geo Magic Brown (BC-101) Circle Lens Review

I ordered my first circle lenses from pinkyparadise.com recently and have been hooked ever since! Circle lenses are super popular in Asia and I just couldn't wait to try them out myself! In countries like Korea, picking out your circle lenses for the day is like picking out which necklace you should wear with your outfit. People are obsessed with the innocent "dolly" eye look that circle lenses are able to give you.

I wanted circle lenses that were natural enough to enhance my eyes without making me look like a weird anime character. Anime characters are meant to be animated for a reason folks... seeing eyes that large in real life would just trip me out! The Geo Magic Brown Lens was exactly what I was looking for!

The lens are a beautiful brown colour that blends well with my medium brown eyes. Asians usually have pretty dark eyes and I have repeatedly been told that my eyes are significantly lighter (more brown) than most Asian's eyes. Circle lenses usually have an outer rim on them to act as a border to the iris; this creates a more prominent enlarging effect, but these don't have an outer rim which makes it much less noticeable.  The lens have a lot of clear sections on them so much of your actual eye is seen while wearing these. As you can see in the photo above, the enlargement effect is quite noticeable but because the colour and design blends so well, it makes it will make it difficult for other to point out why you look "different" today without taking a close up look at you. That being said, people will notice if they look at you directly in the eye whilst having a conversation with you so don't think you can get away with the whole "oh I just had a good night sleep" when they mention that you look more awake!

These lens are generally very comfortable but still not as comfortable as your regular clear prescription contacts. I noticed that these contacts are thicker than regular contacts and they also feel sturdier. If you do not wear contacts regularly you may experience discomfort for the first week or so but your eyes will get used to them. Make sure you lens are not inside out because it can really hurt like a motherfucker a lot! I notice that when I strain my eyes while wearing the contacts, my vision becomes slightly blurry and uncomfortable but I usually just have to look outside for the discomfort to go away. I have tried the Princess Mimi Almond Brown Contacts before and they are much more comfortable the the Magic Brown but those are really large and borderline creepy on my eyes. I personally have extremely dry eyes and these did get fairly dry throughout the day. I can make do without eyedrops for 8 hours but I personally prefer that I do have eyedrops on me to keep my eyes moist. I think for most people you could most likely get away with no eye drops at all.

March Favourites 2013

March was quite a lovely month for me! 1 week of no school is always greatly appreciated! Although, the dreadful part of March break is the fact that all of your teachers seem to be constantly reminding you that school will now be much quicker and rather difficult after the break because we are soon approaching final accumulative season! Wheee the joy -_-

Nonetheless, a full week of no school allowed me to spend my time doing absolutely nothing productive just as a teenager would! A good portion of my time was dedicated to playing with my makeup! This allowed me to rediscover some products that I have previously abandoned for various reasons, and I am now happy to say that I have been reunited with some past favourites of mine!

None of these are full reviews and if you would like a full review on any of these products just go ahead and request it and I will get right on it!

I bought this product when the whole BB cream craze was really at its height and I used it pretty much everyday for 3 months give or take. I abandoned it when I was breaking out and needed something that would give me a better coverage. The consistency is kinda thick so it can be difficult to spread across your face. The problem isn't with blending it into your skin its using as little product as possible for a smoother application; using a primer reeaally helps! The sunscreen function makes me a bit grey but it oxidizes nicely! The coverage is great and build able! I'm happy I feel back in love with this product as I'm using it everyday again! Wheee

This is a great silicone based primer! My makeup always goes on so smooth and extends its longitivtiy by at least 2 hours! I really focus on my dry spots and it helps my makeup not flake at all!

My shade is in SC-3 for my NC 25-30 Olive Undertones skin! This is a great concealer for blemishes! It is really creamy and comes with two shades so you can customize your colour for seamless blending. Don't try using this under your eyes! It'll cake up and leave you with a bad impression of a great product! You must keep in mind that this is a heavy duty concealer so you should really try to use as little product as possible for a natural look! This really does conceal every blemish wonderfully though!  I use this with my e.l.f studio small precision brush which is another one of my favourites pictured above! One downside to this concealer is that the best way to apply this truly is with a separate brush so you may have to make an extra purchase if you down already have a small brush to work with.

This is probably one of the worst concealers I've ever tried. This made it on my favourites list as a lip eraser! Using a lip eraser does a few things... it makes your lips look sickly and pale as though you are dying, and it makes any lip colour that you apply over it look boootiful! Using a skin coloured product on your lips will apply the "true" colour of whatever product your using!

I've really been into the gradient lip trend that I've been seeing frequently on korean idols and actresses lately and this in combination with my MAC Studio Finish Concealer really helps me achieve that look!

I use to use this product religiously for a really long time and stopped using it for no specific reason. Applying macara on the lower lashes really make such a big difference! Your eyes are much more defined and look much larger! The frequent problem I had with applying mascara on the lower lashes was the smudging!! This mascara was a super tiny brush making it easy to apply and it stay put all day! No smudgy smudgy for me baaaby!

I have super miniature lips and have really been wanting to change that recently. My sister gave me her old Buxom Big and Healthy Lip Polish for me to try out and I absolutely adore it! It plumps my lips to a super cute little pout without looking fake and "drag queen-ish!" I love the minty tingle that I feel on my lips! The gloss is a bit sticky but moisturizing as well so its a nice little sacrifice. The colour I have is now discontinued but there was a sufficient amount of pigmentation! I am going to purchase a new one soon! I'm hypeeeeed!

Drumrolllll for the best liquid eyeliner to have ever existed like ever! The award un doubtingly belongs to the Dolly Wink Liquid Liner. I full review of this product is coming very soon because I just can't not! The tip and very fine at the top and gets thicker at the base; allowing you to create lines of all levels of thickness! The pigmentation is so black and intense, while the longitivtiy of the liner is amazing! I was watching it during a sad movie with tears flowing like a river and yet my liner still set in place. Of course that didn't help when my mascara went haywire... but at least my beautiful line bordering my eye was still intact!

Again feel free to request for any full reviews!

Oh and my favourite app goes to fix it felix! Love that game! <3

Grey Bat

I'm a bat
The long "arm-holes?" let me pretend I'm a bat

Now I'm serious again... but the camera is out of focus
I love the way this shirt drapes over my body!

Now I'm cute... but the camera is out of focus

Again, I'm trying to be playful but the Camera is not co-operating

Shirt from French Connection, Wool Lined Leggings from Yessttyle.com, Boots from Michael Kors, Scarf from Hong Kong

I'm really trying my best with this whole outfit of the day/fashion blogger photos but I think I am seriously failing. This is the best I could do with a camera, tripod and self timer! I'm so awkward in photographs this was quite a challenge. Truthfully, I like making videos better but I don't want to put myself up on youtube yet! I like talking to people and showing others my personality... from photos it just looks like I'm an awkward monkey... or in this case an awkward Bat. Heheheh

Although the blurry photos are blurry, the brightness is a lot better and therefore you can see the beautiful draping and lines of the shirt! It's so comfortable, I could wear it all day! My scarf keeps me super toasty warm and I wear it pretty much everyday! I couldn't live without these shoes because they're warm, comfy and they give me height!

Next time, I'll try to post better photos and be less awkward!

KozakSportsPerform: Kickboxing Review

As I am writing this, I am still recovering from the massive sweat session I just had as a result of this killer workout from KozakSportsPerform.

Holy Shit! My body feels so tired yet energized. I was sweating so much; I literally felt like my "fat was crying!"

I've always wants to try kickboxing because so many people with hawt bodies have expressed their love for it! I didn't have enough money to pay for my hot yoga classes and my rock climbing sessions (not bout dat student lyfe yo), so of course I turned to the internet. Thank god I was born in the era of youtube and high speed internet.

The workout is suitable for all fitness levels as the moves are really easily adaptable! It consists of six, four minute "rounds" with 30 second breaks in between each round!

Twinkle on Taupe + Essie Sleek Sticks First Impressions

This manicure is simple and easy! I took this opportunity to try out some of those super nifty Essie Sleek Sticks in which I will be doing a review of later on once I get the chance to try a few other patterns. Excuse my less than attractive cuticles as showcased in the photo >.<

Base Coat: Essie Grow Faster Coat
Colour: OPI Berlin There Done That (2 Coats)
Accent Nail Colour: China Glaze Icicle on middle finger. I took an old liquid eyeliner brush and turned it into a nail stripper!
